This guiro is constructed of specially formulated plastic to enhance durability, and it is designed to have a similar shape, sound, and feel to traditonal guiros made from natural gourds. The precisely spaced grooves create consistency in sound, and the rubber-lined finger holes allow for added control and playability. A wooden scraper is included.
